M&L Builders was founded on the principle of restoring and revitilizing the rural communities in Northwest Missouri. We are a company committed to providing excellence in all that we do.

Whether it be a squeeky door or the construction of the room addition you have always dreamed of, we will address each and every task with the personal and professional attention you would expect when you hire an organization to care for your home.

We wish to develop a relationship with our customers, much like your doctor cares for your body, or your dentist cares for your teeth, we wish to care for your home.  With over 50 years combined experience in all phases of home restoration and construction, we at M&L feel we have the expertise to fix, repair, replace or improve any aspect of your property.

What We Do

We are professional residential renovation and restoration specialists. We pride ourselves on bringing the "old" back to life, we feel that by restoring homes, or parts of homes, we have maintained the character and originality that caused many of us to purchase a vintage house. That's not to say that we won't provide our services for newer homes, we obviously will, but our specialty is the improvement of the older house.

We also like making the "new" look old, there is a vast amount of reproduction trim, fixtures etc. that can make your vintage 2002 home look 25 times it's age.

We also perform general home improvement upgrades as well, additions, decks, porches, window replacement, and the like.

Unique twist to a sunroom.

We installed a custom gothic window to allow for hanging of a vintage stained glass window in a sunroom addition. 

What's New?

We have recently entered into an partnership with Handyman Services of Northwest Missouri, to be able to better serve our community with the small repairs that we all never seem to get around to. Whether it's a broken storm window, a door that sticks or your air conditioner needs cleaning and serviced give us a call or drop us an email and we will be in touch.

For one item or a list you now have the ability to get your "honey-do's" done at a reasonable price, send us a copy of your items and we will attach a cost to each and send it back, you can then "cafeteria style" decide what items you want to take care of now, and what you can wait on. Send it back and we will set up a date for service, it's that easy.
